I can honestly say in my 14 years of performing music, working with TMMP has been my most successful and worry-free endeavor. The TMMP staff is extremely communicative and works hard to provide artists with incredible opportunities, while still upholding the integrity and desired atmosphere of their venues. As an artist, I would never have dreamed of such fantastic gigs including multiple residencies on 6th Street, a feature on “Good Morning Austin”, and a 6th St. performance during the Pecan Street Festival! Being a musician in a town known as the “live music capital of the world” is a wonderful thing, but in spite of that..or maybe because of it, it’s incredibly tough to get yourself noticed. On top of all of the creative elements that go into making your music heard, you’ve also got to put yourself in the right spots..places you can be found. I came home to Austin from LA this fall thinking that, with national television exposure, I’d be able to play everywhere I’ve always wanted. Reality is, if it weren’t for Tammy I wouldn’t be working. I have two clubs in Kerrville, Texas and was contacted from Tammy about 8 months ago, wanting to book some bands for my clubs. I get so many booking agents contacting me I usually explain I like to book the bands myself, but she told me of some of the bands she books, and I had been looking for different acts, and she had exactly what I had been looking for!! Tammy Miranda truly an amazing woman who gives every bit of 150% plus to the people that she represents. I have watched her juggle phones calls, texts and emails all at the same time. She is a multi-tasking machine and she keeps it all straight! I have watched her work for nothing to help someone get started. There are not too many people these days who would donate as much time as she has to launch someone else’s career. But I can see how important it is to her to see these artists succeed in an age where so many just never make it.
